- Personality: Jacko adores people and children, but is selective in contact with other dogs and cats. Dominant and if someone growls at him, he reacts like him. Jaco has several cancerous growths on his body that are bleeding and need to be removed. Today he was admitted to the clinic for a scheduled check-up and tests and was operated on.

The histology results of Jacko’s tumor are out. 📈Malignant, adenocarcinoma, typical of Cushing’s, completely excised surgically, metastases are characteristic and expected. There are no lymph node metastases. The wound after the operation is healing well. He is eating and defecating normally. Jacko has nowhere to go. We have no foster home or willing adopters. Already the 2nd year… We are asking for support to pay off the bills for treatment and care, which so far exceed BGN 3,000. Thank you to everyone who remembers to help those who no one wants ♥️ 🙏

During Jacko’s regular check-up yesterday, it was found that he had relapsed.
He was operated on urgently at the “Ita Vet” clinic in the “Lozenets” quarter.
His diagnosis is: Ulcerative perianal tumor
Two operations were required:
1. Extraction of one anal gland because the tumor had also covered it
2. Removal of the tumor itself
His anal sphincter was also almost entirely affected by the mass. A sample was taken for histology.
Jaco will need to stay in the clinic for about 2 weeks after the operation.
He will need specialized medical care, daily dressing changes.
Will only eat soft food.
So far, the amount for the performed operations and hospitalization for one week (after the discount for the homeless) is BGN 1,084.

THE BEGINNING
I don’t know how to describe this. The pain and despair in his eyes or the unconditional love for the people who abandoned him….Alone, old and no longer needed. He was found yesterday morning at 9:30 a.m. on the bends of Galabets area. Apparently a domestic dog, old – about 10 years old, has habits. Apparently thrown out because of the education he has under his tail. We named him Jacko. He is housed in ItaVet. Blood and biochemistry tests were done, which were normal. 4d test positive for ehrlichiosis and anaplasmosis, for which treatment was started. The perianal tumor will be removed after treatment.
Jacko is very good and calm. He believes in people and is waiting for his real person, with whom he can live out his old days. Jacko is in a difficult moment and expects us to support him with care and love.
